The National Women In Christian Media Convention

I was asked to speak on a radio panel at the National Women in Christian Media Convention in Nashville last week. That alone was an honor! Then during the closing ceremony as I ate chocolate cake and waited to see Thelma Wells and Joni Lamb take the stage, June Hunt called my name. I was a bit in shock as my peers awarded me the WCM 2011 Excellence in Service Award. Then Joni got on stage and said she listens to me on the radio. Needless to say, I am honored and grateful for the award, the compliments and the friendships I have made over the past few days. Thank you WCM! ~Starlene
